I often flip back through journals of half notes, half letters to myself, others, and the universe. It's always nice to go back and see how far you've come. This is one of them.

Dear Universe,
I am so thankful for the opportunities presented to me. I am so thankful to have the options I have that suit my peace and freedom. I am thankful for this peaceful oasis you have provided unto me here. I am so thankful for the many abundances and blessings to come. I am thankful for the creative spark and easy flow of writing that allows me to work and live my dreams. I am thankful for the energy bestowed upon me and the dedication for my career as well as my spiritual journey.
I think back to who I wanted to be when I grew up and this is it. I'm here, and rising, higher every day becoming my most favorite version of myself. My highest self who is free and makes choices she stands by. Who is not worried or scared of her future because whatever happens, happens. It is all meant to be. My choices only bring me to a stronger version of myself. closer to what I truly desire, to be my most authentic self.
Comfortable in silence. Comfortable alone.
She meditates every day to find her center, she stretches her limbs with yoga that gives her energy, but does not take it. She feeds her body clean nutrition but knows when to treat herself because she is free.
In setting boundaries with others she has begun to set boundaries with herself, so no one not even herself can hold her back from being the dream that young McKenzie once had. A life of writing she loves that is still close to her family and the courage to do what it takes to heal and manifest abundance and break the cycles and traumas that have been against her in the past. Not anymore.
She is in control.
She has inner peace.
